Poster Examples

Your assignment is to draw or paint a poster in support of the Second World War. The government and certain businesses were constantly printing posters to encourage the military and the civilians to do their part in the war effort. Possible examples of this can be seen in the need for conservation of vital natural resources to the buying of war stamps and war bonds. The poster must be your own work, however, you may use any of the common themes of the posters of the day. The paper must be unlined and the poster must be in color. (pencil, crayon etc). The poster must be on paper 18" x 24" " or larger. School appropriate content only.---no violent acts.

The Poster will count as double the normal points.
